Dad, You were a faithful and supportive husband. I honor you for the testimony of covenant- keeping marriage – for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, until death do you part. May you find peace and love in your after life.

Learning to ride a bike

June 10, 2011

I loved riding my bike up and down the sidewalk.  I would spend hours at a time racing by my parents until the day they proposed the idea of me trying to ride without training wheels.  It took me days learning how to balance on my bike.  The level of frustration was high but I was determined to master riding my bike like a big girl!  My dad was a real sport at first running along side holding up my bike as I was trying to master the concept of keeping two wheels on the ground and not tipping over.  One day, after many trips up and down the sidewalk, I finally got it! Dad had let go!  I was concentrating so hard I did not realize that he had let go of my bike.  I was riding all by myself.

Thanks Dad for helping me along the way.

Love,

Liz
