Remembering Gene F. Moir, Sr.

Gene F. Moir Sr., 77, was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on October 31,1942. He passed away on March 20, 2020 at his residence in Lakewood, NJ. He grew up in Hoboken, New Jersey with his parents Nancy Rondinone and Henry Wilson Moir. He graduated from Demarest High School and married his high school sweetheart Frances Curach in 1964.He was a lifelong resident of New Jersey. He lived a life of service as a former Captain of the ambulance squad in Lyndhurst, NJ, belonged to the Knights of Columbus Chapter #11529, was the C.O.O. of Motors & Drives, Inc., and was the president of the NY/NJ EASA Chapter. He was a Deacon of St. Veronica's Church in Howell for 36 years, and was most recently a Deacon in St. Monica’s Church in Jackson, NJ.

Gene F. Moir Sr. was survived by his loving wife Frances of 56 years. He was a proud father of his four sons; Gene Jr. and his wife Diane; David Sr. and his wife Jeanne; Stephen J. and his wife Jennifer; and Craig C. and his wife Krystal. He is survived by 8 ½ grandchildren; David Jr. and his wife Sarah, Gene III, Monica, Julia, Meghan, Stephanie, Christopher, Angelina, and a precious one on the way. He has also been blessed with two great grandsons, Kai and Theo. Gene was loved by many, and will be missed by all.
