Mrs. Bartlett is predeceased by her husband, George Lee Bartlett, also of West Point. She is also predeceased by two sisters, Hazel Wadsworth and Geri Coggins, and a brother, Harold Brown.

Mrs. Bartlett was born Saturday, October 11, 1919, in Roanoke, Alabama, to Sally and Loyd Brown. She is survived by a daughter, Saundra Bartlett Brumbeloe (N. D.) of Milton, Ga., and a son, Michael Bartlett of March, Cambridgeshire, England; four grandchildren; Todd Brumbeloe (Nhu), Lynn Rabren, Beth Usher (Ed), and Leisa Morse; plus six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bartlett was a long-term member (68 years) of the First Baptist Church in West Point and a wife and homemaker while her children were growing up. She later joined the staff at Lanier Memorial Hospital in the Dietary Department and then following her retirement after 19 years, continued as a volunteer at the hospital for an additional 12 years.

Mrs. Bartlett was a member of the West Point Pilot Club, Garden Club and Woman’s Club. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed working in her yard.
