Her Life
February 1, 2014

Mrs. Kirk was born in Franklin, Georgia on June 1, 1929, the daughter of the late Kate Barrett Johnson and Andrew Cummings Johnson. She was a member of the Olive Branch Baptist Church. Until her retirement she was employed by the Flat Rock Manufacturing Company, and before that the Baby Cloze Manufacturing Company. “Mrs. Geneva” was a fun loving lady who loved fast music and being twirled around in a lively dance step! She enjoyed traveling to different places and meeting new friends. She delighted her family with absolutely fabulous meals! There was nothing she could not cook. Her great personality and wonderful spirit made her a favorite of all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by one daughter, Carol Laws (Jimmy) of Franklin, GA.; three sons, Wylie Kirk (Sandra) of Gainesville, GA., Stanley Kirk (Charrine) of Franklin, GA., and Randall Kirk (Tara) also of Franklin, GA.; one sister, Jimmie Key of Wedowee, AL.; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Keith Kirk.
