George Beaudet, what a man, what a life! George loved life and was indeed generous to a fault. My first memory of George was that I was going to meet my boyfriend’s parents for the first time, I was so nervous! George made it easy for me until he insisted on giving me $200! I didn’t know what to do and Katherine finally said, “Christine just take it, he won’t let it go until you do.” George stated that he rather have people owe him, then the other way around. George loved life and insisted on people to have a good time and a sense of humor. George raised wonderful children as well, and was a proud father, father-in-law, and grandfather. I remember meeting Bridget for the first time, and seeing the delight and love they had for one another. Bridget was a great balance for George and I am delighted they had such a beautiful relationship. George was supportive when one needed it as well. He would let you know when he was proud of you, and when he wasn’t. My children were blessed with wonderful grandparents. Andrew was particularly close to his grandfather, he loved spending time with his grandfather, and just being around him and Bridget. I have so many wonderful, funny, and meaningful memories of George and know that he will always be remembered and sorely missed. What a life, what a man!!!
