Mr. Horne was born January 27, 1921 in Vada, GA, to the late Charlie Horne and Mittie Glover Horne.  He served his country in the US Air Force during WWII.    On February 11, 1945, he married Ruby Miller Horne, who survives.  He was retired from Joseph Campbell Company and was a former deacon and member of Eastside Baptist Church.    

Survivors include:  his wife, Ruby Horne of Cairo, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Wray Gallimore of Stone Mountain, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.    

Mr. Horne was preceded in death by: his parents, Charlie and Mittie Horne; and his 12 brothers and sisters.
