His Life

Our Miracle Baby

April 13, 2020
George was our little miracle baby, born a whole month early. His brother Gordon was just 1 year, and 4 months old. George was in the NICU for 5 weeks where he seemed to learn to sleep and eat like clockwork! He came home on a heart monitor for a short time. He is truly our miracle baby, and I believe now that he is an angel that was sent down to be with us for 20 years. He taught us all so much about courage, kindness and selflessness. He is such a sweet, loving person and will be missed forever.

Sweet Toddler

April 13, 2020
George was a beautiful toddler who was always on the move! He loved to swing on the swings, ride in the car and would quickly fall asleep in both. He would often spin in circles and amazingly, never got dizzy! George loved to play with his big brother Gordon and loved going over to his Auntie Ann's house and playing with his cousins, William and Allen.  He was such a loving little boy who would sweetly hold your hand and touch your face with such care and love.

Elementary School Days

April 13, 2020
Our family was living in Springfield, Massachusetts when George started preschool and Kindergarten. We moved to Florida for about 8 months following George's 1st grade year, returning to Springfield for 2nd grade. We lived with his Gram in Springfield until we found our current home in Blandford.

Move to Blandford, MA

July 4, 2020
When we moved to Blandford, George and Gordon very quickly were introduced to the kids in the neighborhood. We were welcomed by Sam and Ben and their Grandmother next door shortly after moving in and the boys were pretty inseparable from then on, playing football, riding bikes, and being boys!  When the kids started school at the end of the street, George met Kyle who lived down the street and was also from Springfield originally. They hit it off really well, and remained the best of friends.

High School Days

April 13, 2020
George attended Smith Vocational High School with his brother, graduating in 2015 with a diploma in Graphic Communications. We have a whole portfolio of George's creations that he made over the years, wonderful advertisements and signs that all have George's humor in them. Life was challenging when he started high school, it was tough transition for him, but by the end of the first year, he had found a great group of friends with similar interests. His new friends introduced him to D&D and Live Action Role Playing at Mythical Journeys, which he attended twice, creating his own costume with regulation shield and sword. George helped to develop an after school gaming club that continued beyond high school.

Beautiful Artwork

April 13, 2020
This beautiful painting was created by George using spray paint and round objects for shaping of the planets. He saw someone paint a similar picture on Youtube and decided to try it. He finished it in one afternoon and this beautiful creation was the result! He made a few more of these (smaller) paintings and gave them away to his friends. Luckily, he kept this one for us to enjoy. George has a natural talent for art, and music and a wonderful singing voice. I believe he is sharing his talents in heaven with all of our loved ones, Gram and Pepe, and some of his friends. I like to think that he now contributes to the beautiful sunrise and sunsets that he would often capture with his camera on his way to and from work.
