Dad you were always there to lend a helping hand when things were tough. You saw me struggle to support my family and was always the first one I could depend on, no matter how many times I asked. You know how appreciative we were and you stood in for my own father who passed away when I was 19, just a few short months before we met. Both you and mom made me feel welcome and for that reason I will always be grateful. The one thing I regret is your passing just as I turned the corner with unbridled success, first in the funeral home and then later in the insurance office. I knew when you passed I would be like a kid released for the first time with the training wheels off his two wheeler. "You're on your own, so ride or fall" and ride I did to great success which would have made you extremely proud. You were the best father (in-law) a person could have asked for. Rest in Peace Dad, Love You.
