I miss you dad. There are few people in this world like you. You always handled yourself with grace, humility, empathy, and always supported us in anything we attempted to do. Your advice was sound, it came with a quiet and loving tone, and we all knew how you felt about us. That's a blessing. I hate that you were in so much pain, but I appreciate the fact that you didn't know how sick you really were. As much as I hated to see you depart this earth, I could not stand to see you in pain, and I could not see you living anywhere else but your home in the country surrounded by your favorite furry kids. I regret not living closer, not seeing you more. I still have your voicemail messages which I will play often. I wonder if you really did know you were so sick, but wouldn't burden us with that information. It would be like you to do that. I wish you could be at your Celebration of Life gathering where all the people who loved you will send you off. There will be many tears, but many, many great memories of how you impacted all of us. You gave everyone exactly what they needed, you gave yourself, and we all will try to carry on your legacy as best we can.
I hope you run into Janice and Kathy so you can start up a new softball team. I'm sure our Grandma's and Grandpa's will also be cheering you on. Love you always, you were my greatest gift. xoxoxox. Jenn

A pillar of calmness and strength. You will be missed and never forgotten. Since I was a young man Uncle G taught me drive , compassion, understanding and love. Thanks Uncle G for teaching me to be a good man and a better human . Hopefully some day I will find that bucket of "Prop Wash " you wanted me to find Bub.

Missing you so much! I know you are no longer in pain and your are reunited with all your loved ones and friends, all they have to do is look for the huge area of pets to find you. Bailey stares at your garage every day waiting for you to come to her. Love You!

Gus was an amazing man. He loved his family dearly. Nothing pleased him more than coaching his "girls". He loved his softball team and they loved him. i am thankful I was able to visit him in the hospital the week before he passed. His parting words was I can still handle the hot corner, yes you can my friend. Rest in peace.
