George Cleveland Hart, 79, a resident of 8149 Fonza Hart Road, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Meadowview Terrace in Clarksville, Virginia.

 

 A native of Granville County, the widower of Hazel Garrett Hart and the son of the late Alphonso Joe and Mattie Greenway Hart. He was a member of Stovall Church of God and a retired farmer.

 

 Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Carroll Glasscock. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park.

 

 Surviving are twin daughters, Paula Hart Talley of Virgilina, Virginia, Pam Hart Pendergrass of Oxford, two sisters, Elsie Hart Wilson of Eden, N.C., Mattie Crump Forbes of Chase City, Virginia and three grandchildren.

 

 Visitation will be held from 7:00 – 8:30 PM, Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at 8126 Fonza Hart Road, Oxford, North Carolina 27565.
