me and george first met in crosshill 1977, married march 18-03-78. he was a hard worker down the pit, comrie , he became a loving dad to twins ann- george 1979 then son steven 1980 again son christopher 1984 his only daughter ann was a daddys giril.like any married couple we had our ups downs, we both renewed our wedding vows on our 25th wedding anniversary, he was my first love at 15yr old we both shared also done everything together, my best friend my soulmate, untill he became un-well to lung cancer, that traveled to his brain, yet through his illness he fought with courage dignity, never complained, once altho it was devestating to watch the love of my life slowly fade away, knowing i couidnt take away the pain, then the tragic day came 11-07-11, my darling husband george a loving dad and grandad, passed away, life will never be the same, again, not only did i loose a husband, i lost my best friend my soulmate, r-i-p- darling untill we meet again.
