Born on July 2, 1947 in Laurinburg, NC. Passed away on August 5, 2023 at home with his wife at his side. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

George had a love for fast cars, planes, college football, the Gulf Coast, and video games. But his favorite times were those spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Zaden; brother, Stephen Zaden (Sidney); children: Stephanie Tunnell (Rick), George Christopher Zaden (Becky), Donna Crane, and David Aaron Crane; granddaughter, Riley Lovejoy (Jon); great-granddaughter, Zadie Fae Lovejoy; niece, Jennifer Lewis (Scott); and nephew, Matthew Zaden (Amanda).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
