George

April 20, 2012

George was a witty, smart and easy going guy. He was a lot of fun to be around and always had some comment about life in general that seemed to be right on the mark. He had a very sharp wit. I remember the fun we had yardsaling and the good times we had discussing politics, vacationing in Wildwood or just talking and sitting around the backyad campfires. George also had an innate kindness. He cared about people and could communicate well. George had a lot of friends. Almost everyone I knew took to him immediately. He was easy to be around. No airs or false pretenses about him - it was not in his nature. I was very glad to know him. He is part of the many happy memories that I have of our family congregations.
