His Life

George Robert Schwab

October 12, 2013
George was definitely a real family man. His family always came before his friends. He has a loving 7 yr old grandson and a loving 6 yr old granddaughter. He would take our grandson fishing at Flag Rock at Anchor Beach every chance he got. He taught our grandson gardening and how to play baseball. He would let our granddaughter help with the garden when she was over. He always took our kids on trips to the Bronx Zoo almost every year in April. He took our kids on the Ferry Boat to Port Jeff in Long Island almost every year, and he tried to carry on the tradition so we took our grandson on the Ferry Boat in April 2012..We took a vacation in the summer of '95 to York, South Carolina and then we took another trip in the summer of 2001 to York and Rock Hill, South Carolina. In '95 we went to the Carowinds on the South Carolina/North Carolina line. We had so much fun. I don't know what happened but our family used to be very close..George was the best grandfather a child could ask for and also the best father, he always put his kids and grandkids first in his life..I will always love him, I just wish I married him when he wanted me to. Rest in Peace George..
