Caitlin and Astrid, we are looking at the photos that you posted and crying. George, your amazing father, was one of the most generous people that we have ever known. He gave Tom the opportunity of a lifetime when he brought him to the University of Washington. We are truly grateful. He was our extended family, our friend and we have so many memories of fun times we shared together. There is so much joy and happiness in these photos. His strength and humour (especially in his most recent emails) in the face of adversity is an model that we all can learn from in our own lives. I could write a book on his kindness and goodness to our family. The world has lost a wonderful man. We are so sorry for your loss. We will never forget George.....loving, kind, brilliant, funny, helpful. sincere, giving, generous and strong.❤️
