Born in St. Johns, Michigan on February 6, 1938, George was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he attended Central High School and became the general manager of A&P. He loved classic cars and taught his children the value of taking care of the things you own and working with your hands. To any who needed him, he was always there with love, acceptance, wisdom, and a helping hand. He will truly be missed by those who knew him and will live on in the loving memories created with his friends and family.

George was predeceased by his mother Hazel, father Edward, stepmother Jeanette, and brother Jerry. He is survived by his wife Margaret; daughter April and her husband Dennis; daughter Tracy; son Jason and his wife Amy; son Brad and his wife Allison; sisters Jean and Kay; brother Joe; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held June 5 at 12:30pm at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home. Masks are required to enter the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati.

In lieu of flowers, the family recommends a donation to the Dementia Society of America (https://www.dementiasociety.org/lewy-body-dementia).
