Dear Ruth,

I realize this may not be the central repository for friends to share their love and support, but better here than not at all.

My dear one, I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. I type this looking at my favorite pen from your George, having just changed the battery in our Easy Does It clock, before hearing the sad news.

There is no way to prepare for the loss of this Renaissance man from our world, never mind from your home and daily life.

And, we, in the office, are holding you close in our hearts now and always. And of course, without hesitation, we are here for you no matter what.
