I always addressed you as Georgie! I will always keep fond memories in my heart of you. I thought of You and Dottie as my big sister-cousins. We spent
many summers together as children and I will always embrace those memories. It saddens me that you are not here with us. I love you, Georgie. Rest in His Arms!

Georgia was always a welcome presence. She filled the room with calm, with joy, with acceptance and peace. She was able to communicate so much with just her eyes and her expressions. I always felt unconditionally loved. But most of all, she had the best laugh on earth. Her laughter would just fill me with happiness, in a way which no other person's laughter has ever done.

First Time meeting my cousin Georgia, I was around 4 or 5 years of age.
She impressed me as a sweet and caring person then.
That day I remember being So Happy. We played all the day long.
60 years later we meet again.
Had a nice visit and she was that precious person I remember.
Rest in peace and continue to love the Lord.
Will love you always.

Georgia,
Love you and miss you. Rest in peace. I look forward to seeing you in the Resurrection. I always looked forward to seeing you at the Feast or at church in Philly - greeted by your delightful big smile and big hug (and big hats!)

We loved our Sabbath visits after services with our dear sweet Georgia! She had such a love for God and that’s how we met, oh so many years ago.
Georgia always had a big smile and her eyes would light up when she saw you. She had the patience of Job while we tried to figure out what it was that she wanted to tell us, especially as she lost the use of her arms, then her hands and fingers.
She brought us great joy whenever we were with her and loved hugs and kisses!
We will remember those times when we got a little goofy and her laughter came afterwards.
Georgia was our sister and we loved her and will miss her.
We are thankful Georgia is at peace now.
We look forward to when we will see her again.

My dear sweet friend,Georgia. I cannot think of her without remembering her warmth and sincerity. She always greeted us with smiles and hugs. The first time I met her was when United Church of God was meeting on Arch St. in Philadelphia. Through all the years, she and I continued to maintain our friendship. I cherish the memories of our Sunday discussions, primarily regarding the Sabbath sermons. The joy and enthusiasm of gathering at The Feast of Tabernacles was also a highlight. Once she lost the ability to speak, email was our main source of communication. Georgia, the beautiful lady with the beautiful hats and smile. I will miss her. ❤️❤️ My life was enriched by her presence.

It’s not easy to describe in a few words a person who, for about 15 years, made a tremendous impact on my life. Georgia never greeted me with just “hello,” but with a big smile and a big hug. There was never any doubt she was absolutely delighted to see me. We always parted in the same way—never with just “good-bye,” but with another smile and hug—and the moments in between were filled with laughter, fun, and at times, poignant conversations. Georgia lived for the moments she could spend with those she loved (which as far as I could tell, was everybody). Even when she could no longer speak, she continued to smile and laugh, and brighten the lives of those around her. When confined to a wheelchair in ManorCare, she continued to share her loving light, and despite her own suffering, found new ways to bring moments of joy to people who are sorely hurting. There isn’t a room or hallway that didn’t brighten when Georgia was in it. She was an incredible example of giving and out-going love. She truly lived Proverbs 18:24, and she is my sister, whom I eagerly look forward to seeing again.

I never knew Ms. Georgia personally but she was my sister in the faith. Considering how long she suffered and fought the good fight of faith I love and admire her for that. Someday I hope to meet her and tell her what a wonderful example she left as a Christian Soldier. May God comfort her family in this time of loss. My husband Basil also sends his condolences to her family.

Sweet Georgia. I am so grateful for the time I knew her, and give my condolences to Dottie & Melvin, and Georgia's family for their loss. So many memories packed in to the last few years - I didn't know Georgia when she could talk, so the memories aren't stories of the past or who Georgia was with a history. Just Georgia in the present. Gentle and kind, but with an iron will and fiery disposition. So full of class and poise. A lot of hugging. A lot of bent over, can't breathe, laugh til you cry moments - especially physical humor, when i'd miss her mouth and pour Ensure down her front, or I'd trip over her feet and fall in her lap - to the end, she was still able to laugh at the absurdity of her situation. Her memory will forever be a blessing to me and my family.

Georgia was very precious to me. She listened in a way no one else could. And her hugs were legendary. Just a gentle embrace, long and steady. As if to somehow give me strength. I know now that she has only peace and comfort ahead of her. Most of all she was so very loved - as a dear sister. Not only by me, but a throng of brethren. Rest well, until we meet again. I'll miss our silly adventures.
