Well, Jerry. Another Christmas has gone by without you and you were missed. When you were here, you always made it fun telling your jokes. Play the game of heck like we used to do at mom‘s house. Brent won. I wish the ending of our lives Would’ve been different and that we could’ve been together to the end. Maybe that would’ve made a difference. You will always be Remembered

Can you imagine how funny Dad's jokes would be now that he'd be 90-years-old? Glad you're enjoying heaven, Dad, and most likely cracking up everyone there!

It has been 10 years since we lost cherry. He is still missed by all his family and friends. He would be so proud of his two boys. Mike is a successful coordinator at a senior home. He plans to retire in 2021.
Brent just retired in 2020 from being owner of Alpine Physical Therapy. He has his fingers in many pies, so keeps quite busy. I am sure that Jerry looks down on his two sons and their families with pride, caring and love- just as they hold him in their memories .

Oh, by the way. The picture of you in your office is hung at church all during November. You are between the Dyers and Mom and Dad. Good company. Hope you are feeling the prayers.

Miss you, Jerry. Had to put Champ down. How you loved him. Hope he finds you up there and you can give him lots of loving.
Sent out your clown birthday card to Michael and Matt on their birthdays. Keep the angels laughing with your jokes. Hugs, Joan

Jerry was an awesome man that knew how to have a good time. I love his fishing stories and going fishing, waterskiing and yes, a ton of camping. I miss him dearly and have great memories of him. Heck, he taught me a lot about life and to have fun while your doing it. He was the greatest and we'll all miss him forever! Hello Joan, Mike, and Brent - God Bless You!

I read this in a book Brent and Liz gave me. Reflect on the words:
"I won't take any photographs of those I love; I'll just take all the faces and familiar gestures I have collected and hang them up along the walls of my inner space so that they will always be with me."May pictures of Jerry be hung forever in your heart ,  He'll make you laugh.

Dear Mike and Brent; My how you must miss your dad. He was a great dad who loved you more than anything else in the world. I love it when I hear you tell a joke or a funny story because I know you got that talent from him. He also gave you his compassion for others, his pride in his family, his determination to do the best job he could. He was a fine man which both of you have become.

To our grandchildren;
Gramps, grandpa,papa, or whatever you called him, loved you so much. He took such pride in all your accomplishments, be it academic, sports, music, art, dance,texting. He loved to hear what you were up to. He loved to tell you stories and make you laugh. He was a great model to look up to for how to live and care for others.

I was married to Jerry for 26 years. I am thankful for those years because from that marriage we had two of the most wonderful sons any couple could have. Jerry was such a good man, an honest man, a champion of those in need. Any one who knew him was better off for that because of his wit, his wisdom, his caring. Thank you, Jerry, for the good memories. See you at a later date.

"Celebration of Life for U. Jerry Dodge"...A celebration it should be and shall be. I look forward to being with all of you on the 14th to celebrate (and party with some Coors beer, his favorite brand as I recall). Cheers to the funniest man I ever knew! Quick with a joke, he had us in stitches all the time. He kept a beautiful home and garden. Eric Dyer and family, Tehachapi, CA

My Tribute to this great Man is that he was an excellent educator. I am living proof of that quality as Jerry taught my brother and I how to waterski! I'll never forget how he was so nice all the time and I miss him dearly. God Bless Joan and my best friends from T.O., Brent and Mike!

I always looked forward to the visits from Jerry at the Kennedy house. For some reason I seem to remember him always in plaid, was he a wannabe lumber jack? But the one thing Jerry taught me in life was the power of the aeiral use of RoundUp. He taught us how to effectively spray from 10+ feet in the air for the max effect.....ok he had me rolling on that one for years! He was a good man!

Holy smokes! Check out Dad's desk. That explains why I'm a clean-desk fanatic. My dad paid attention to detail, particularly details about the life of his kids. He always expressed interest in what was going on with me, particularly with my family . . . and fishing! Detail-oriented, a person of integrity, and a guy whose wit could always brighten your day. That's the dad I'll miss.

Jerry Dodge was a great dad who cared for his family. He was always there for us. He received a Ph.D. in Education and devoted his life to teaching children. Jerry was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a people person and had a gift for remembering everyone he met. Jerry had a sense of humor which kept everyone smiling and laughing. He will be missed.
