Mr. Gerry “Frog” Whaley, 67 year old resident of Lanett, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama.

Funeral services for Mr. Whaley will be held Friday, February 15, 2013, at 2:00 PM EST from the graveside in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lanett. Chaplain Walter J. Turner will officiate.

The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM EST until 8:00 PM EST at McCarthy Funeral Home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice Advantage, Auburn, Alabama.

I had the privilege of calling him my father in law for 7 years and blessed them with their first grandchild and she blessed them with their two great grandson's. I will forever miss him and love him and consider him a father . Go rest high pop your work here is done. till we meet again.

i new Frog When we Grew up on The Mil village In Roanoke .WeAre sorry About his passing,He Was AGood boy ,He Will Be missed ,May God Give confort At This Time,Our Prayers are With the Family

I'm sorry for your loss I had the prevalage of working with frog at the city of lanett and we had lots of laughs together I know he will be missed.
