Wayne, Tyler and I had the pleasure of coaching Gideon during his time at Dunstable Town FC. He represented the Club at both U16's and U18's level. He was a funny and loving young man who always made sure you knew he was there. During his time at the Club he showed his versatility on the field by mastering many different positions and was the very essence of being a Team player.

Gideon was never shy about expressing himself which sometimes got him into trouble, but everything he said and did came straight from the heart. He showed great passion for the Club and had total respect for his fellow players and the coaching staff. He had so much to look forward to in life and we are all deeply saddened that he has been taken so young.

We will arrange a Charity Match to take place in his honour towards the end of the season and will be holding a Minute's Applause at our first home game to celebrate his life.

We pass on our condolences to Gideon's family and friends.

Cameron Jenkins, Wayne Upton, Tyler Dunnel and all at Dunstable Town FC.

Gideon.. I’ve known him since we were literally kids, and he never failed to put a smile on my face. He had that energy about him that no one could replace, the moment he entered the room nothing would be the same. Last time your Dad spoke to my mum before you passed was just about a few weeks, I wish I got to speak with you then. I will never forget you Gideon, you’ve changed our lives forever.. my condolences to his family. Rest in perfect Peace Gid.

The one person who never failed to make me laugh & smile was Gideon. He always knew how to lighten my mood and make my bad days brighter. I can’t explain the hole left in my heart after his passing and if I had known the last time I saw him would be the last, I would have hugged him a little tighter. I always will appreciate Gideons’ caring heart and can not thank him enough for helping me build a stronger relationship with God. I pray for Gods’ comfort upon Gideon’s friends and family. Rest in internal peace Gideon

Gideon had such a beautiful, caring and loving soul. He could make anyone laugh. I loved his loud and funny personality. Gideon was truly a brother to me and I will miss him so much. Gideon was such a brilliant and caring friend and one thing I loved about Gideon was he always made sure I was okay. Gideon’s death just goes to show how unexpected life is and how we shouldn’t take any moment of our life for granted May Gideon rest in eternal peace. My prayers go out to his family

Gideon was one of those people who never failed to make anyone laugh. Gideon was friendly, sweet and very talented. It’s so heartbreaking learning that someone so young and still had a life ahead of them was taken away by something so horrible. I remember speaking with him at school and seeing him in lessons, now knowing he isn’t here anymore is truly heartbreaking. May he rest in peace. I send my condolences to his family and friends during this very sad time. Fly high Gideon, you will be missed by many

If I had to descibe Gideon in one word it would be "lively". He'd always have a smile on his face, cracking jokes and making the best out of any situation. He was taken far too soon and will be miss so much. May his legacy continue on, a light to the world. God bless.
