My beautiful Gidget. You’ve been gone 10 years. Even though I know I’ll see you someday it still makes me so sad that you’re not here now. I’m sure you know we have Bailey. He’s such a sweet loving obedient boy. He reminds me of you whenever he gently licks my eyes. I will always love you and remember you. My little angel

Happy birthday sweet girl. You were an angel on earth and now you have wings. I miss you still. I hope you get to eat as many fresh tomatoes as you want and that you get to play with squeeky tennis balls all the time. Sweet little Lindy is with you but I miss her being here. On this day, I light a candle for you my sweet little Gidget! I hope the candle always stays lit and no one's tears ever put it out because your candle deserves to shine brightly in memory of your short time on Earth I wish it would have been longer. My sweet angel. I miss you so much but I know you are with the angels and happy. I hope you get to play with your favorite toys and that you get to eat your favorite things. I was thinking about you and remember that cute little noise you made when your water wasn't fresh enough and you wanted me to change it. You were so adorable. Dear Sweet Gidget ~ You were such a sweet and good dog and you will be sorely missed by everyone who knew you. I can envision you being young and playing with lots of dogs and toys. Your mom misses you so much and it will take her a while to deal with your passing. We love you very much - always know that!

Bringing Gidget home

When I got Gidget she was nine weeks old and so tiny. The breeder gave me a toy with her litter mates scent on it that was as big as she was. When I got her home I threw t for her and she ran and got it. So smart! As soon as she chas big enough she graduated to her all time favorite toy, a squeezing tennis ball. She fetched those even after she when not blind. I love her so much!

Gidget's visit to Denver

I took Gidget to Denver when my sister had surgery. My sister was in a pet friendly hospital so Gidget stayed with me in the hospital. She had never seen snow before and it was January so there was lots of that. My brother-in-law bought her some little boots to protect her feet from the salt. She marched around in those boots like she was all that!! (I still have them) she visited as many patients as she could, and was the best most beautiful girl! I'll never forget her!
