Inge Manning
It is with great sadness that the family of Inge announces her peaceful passing. Inge will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Tom, and her daughter Barbara. Inge will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Taleena (Tim), JoJo (Cristi), Samantha (Dan), and Robbie. Inge was lovingly called Omi by her great grandchildren, Jarett, TW, Anthony, Nathan, DJ, Jaime, Jesse, Alexandra, Sydney, and Rob III. Inge was predeceased by her parents Walter and Kathryn, and her son in law Bob.

Inge was born in Germany and this is where she met her husband Tom, who was in the US Army and stationed there. Tom and Inge were married in Frankfurt Germany in 1955. In 1956 they welcomed their daughter, Barbara, in Ft.Ord California. Inge and her family moved often while Tom was serving in the Army. She enjoyed volunteering for The Red Cross at the hospitals and dental clinics on post.

Tom and Inge eventually settled in Palmdale, California after Tom retired from the Army. Inge enjoyed bowling, playing piano, gardening and feeding the birds. She loved all animals and had quite a few pets throughout her life.

Inge was a devoted grandmother who loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren have a multitude of fond memories of playing games like Tiddly Winks and Ring Around the Rosie, baking with her, and doing fun projects such as painting rocks that she proudly displayed in her garden. Inge had so much fun being silly with her grandkids. Taleena and JoJo especially remember trips to the Commissary and the laughter shared over trying to decipher their Grandma's grocery list that they teased was written "in German cursive".

Dear Barb

January 29, 2019

I will always remember the days on our old street R-12 when you and I met . Our moms near as I can remember hit it off seeing they were both German. Your mom was a great person and you will always remember her on a day to day basis. I'm sure my mom and her will be having coffee soon and keeping an eye on us . Always remember the good times as they will always be in your mind and heart.

Bella
