the truth about mom

May 7, 2012

gladys you are the best of the best but for some reason you older children didnt really know you so i will remind them of who you really are.born in andalusia alabama you graduated from tuskeegee institute where you majored in child psychology. they actually thought you went to bethune cookman, what an insult. not that bethune is bad but tuskeegee and bethune are not in the same state let alone catagory. anyways you were a christian at st. john missionary baptist church out of west palm beach fl. you became a headstart teacher for the c.a.c. in riviera and once a month you would be on television teaching america how to cook with the free gov. food that was given away. soon you moved to boynton in a large 4 bedroom house and became the head teacher for the c.a.c. a few years later you were evicted and forced to live in the park where you learned how to rob convenient stores and steal out of grocery stores just to feed us in the park. it was me(isaiah), sam wilson, sam daniels jr. and sam daniels sr., chester cromarty jr. and james clark jr.i was the oldest at age eleven.you never sold your body and you never did drugs and you did what you had to do for us to live. even after being rejected by all of the older brothers and sisters that should have taken us in, you still was strong and provided for us as a mother provides for her cubs. i remember my older brothers and sisters said that we were an embarresment to them so we left palm bch county.then you came up, i joined the army and you had your own place. mom you always kept us in school and i really love you. after all the rejection from your older kids you still loved them and invited them to you home. you still give me strength and joy. i love you
