Gladys Ann Hudson was born Oct 9,1948 to the parents of Girver and Gertrude Hudson. She was the forth of 18 children
Gladys graduated from Castlemont High School were she met and marryed Willam  
Jones Jr they had three children, Adrienne,Annette, and Andre.
Gladys worked at GM for many years and later retird due to work related injury. She was an advocate for any issue that affected her family.She was also the office manager/Administartor for A 1 Electric for over 25 years( a family owned business)Gladys was appointed to the Mayor's Commission on Persons with Disabilities in Dec 2004 and served on its Housing and Transportation & Mobility Committees, Seniors Community Garden Committee and United Seniors. Gladys also served as a Secretary for Sojourner Truth Mamor Tenants Assocition. She coordinated Voters RegisgrTion Programs for the Oakland Eastbay Democratic Club and worked on many local, state and federal campaigns. She love advocating for the disadvantage
