When I was 10 years old I had to have my tonsils removed and after the surgery I went to stay with My Gram and Gramps. Back then we lived in Brooklyn New York... I remember it was snowing really bad but that that didn't stop My Gram from going out in it. She took a cab down to 5th Ave. where there's all kinds of Department Stores, etc., and She bought me like 5-6 just came out Cabbage Patch Kids and Babies, strollers and carriers and bottles!!! Then she went by the grocery store and bought me every flavor of Hagen Daz Ice Cream they had!!! She even let me sleep with her that night and we watched reruns of the old version of the show Twilight Zone until early morning hours....
