You and Dad were amazing parents and I have to brag about you( the fact that Dad sometimes had to work two or three jobs to support us all and allowing you to be home to take care of all of us. He even realized that you needed help and hired someone for a short time to be there for you. I know it wasn't a bed of roses but you and Dad's stick tuitiveness lasted through your whole marriage and was a great example to your kids on how never to give up on your family and do whatever it takes to see it through. I feel so thankful for being the oldest and having been there on our family's journey to get us where we are today. I'll love you forever.

Mom the Pirate
I remember going to mom's and her telling me she keeps poking herself in the eye. I don't remember why, but I assume it was when my sister maybe was helping her with her eye drops. I'm not sure, but we ended up putting an eyepatch on her because of this (as we had threatened her we would do if she poked herself again). So there she was lying in her bed with her pirate patch on. Samantha was sitting next to her and Melinda and I were in the room, and all of a sudden she starts singing "yo ho ho, its a pirates life for me." Over and over she is singing this so melinda and I recorded her and you can hear my brother Danny come into the room saying "oh Mom!!! Stop!!! Then mom gets this serious look on her face and looks right at him and sings a little louder "YO HO HO, IT'S A PIRATES LIFE FOR ME!!" We all just started cracking up.
Thats the last video I have of my beautiful mom and I cherish it as if my life depended on it...
I miss you mom
