Another one on the way
Hello my love--- hard to come to this site as you are still missed so very much. Mitchell and Alyssa have grown into wonderful young man and woman. Both out of school now. Tina and Christine are both in highschool. Tinas last year, Christines second year. Caleb is going into grade 7. Just got word last night that Alison is now expecting her first. Wish you were here to share all of this with me. I love you!!!
Uncle Glenn would buy the boys clothes, usually 3 to 4 sizes too big but he always had them in mind! He was a wonderful Uncle, spent time with them, was quick to laugh and could be counted on to sort them out too if need be.
On one of our parties, he put me in the camper of his friend's truck, drove off to another hotel and forgot I was still locked in the back! We played more than one game of PacMan in the Timberland Hotel. He would go for coffee to my friend Betty's place. Betty had a viscious little dog named Susie. The next thing you would see id Glenn running down the road with Susie hanging off his ass! Old friends in Hinton still ask about him and he is remembered for his humour and geneoristy of spirit. Rest well!
When we where young
We had a good life living at Sliver mountain. I have a foggy memory of living at the store. Sis Arlene and I got in to Sheena's lipstick and mom was upset with us not to say Sheena was not . mom got you to take us to the sauna and poor you had to was off all that lipstick. you would always let me help you with the dishes. I would stand on the counter and you gave me dishes to put away. Then mom build the new house and you and I would do dishes there. I went hunting with you once, and I made so much noise that you did not take me again. But you where there to help me grow up. When we would go to grandma's,we would get the berries from her trees, play with her push lawn mower. At Sliver mountain we would play in the sand piles at the old Mto yard , that was so much fun, trying to run up and then running downing down, until I got my ankle cut with an axe that some one left there. The old garage in our yard we would go on to the roof and then jump in to the snow. There would be a lot more to say about you in my life . But the tears make it hard to go on. i miss you and know you still are here when I need you.
My love - My Life
I met Glenn in 1982, through my ex. It was as if we had known each other all our lives. We hit it off right away. Even then when he had to leave town to go to work, it felt like my heart was being ripped out. Yes, just like every one else we had our rocky times, but we always made up, and carried on. It was through Glenn, that I got to go and live in Vancouver, BC., was able to return to Thunder Bay, and purchase our first camper, that started our love affair with camping and fishing. Glenn loved to be at the lake, fishing, sitting by the fire, feeding ducks, walking with the grandkids. I will try to carry on this tradition, and I know he will be there with me in spirit. Love you, Babe!!
