Mom, everyone here misses you so much. This past year has been so different because you are not here. We know you around us and are always keeping an eye on us. I just want to say I how much I love and miss you.

Dr. Galvan & Cynthia, please accept my sincere condolences. I will always remember grandma’s smile as she walked through the office. May she rest in heaven-Sending hugs during this difficult time❤️

Dearest Gloria, there are no words to describe how sad I have become due to your passing. There are sooo many wonderful memories of time with you, dear friend.  Please know you are in my heart. The only thing that soothes the pain is realizing you are in peace with our Lord and Mona and Pete.  

Thank you for being there for all us grandkids whenever we needed you. You were the most dedicated grandma. And a huge thank you for introducing me to pumpkin bread! Until I see you again. I love you.

Since day one of my life you have been there. Every holiday, family vacations, birthdays, weekend visits, memories from childhood to my adulthood will always be cherished. You and George were the greatest best friends to my parents! We were lucky enough for all of you to be part of our lives and then later our children’s life! The Rico and Galvan family will always be family. May you fly high with the angels. You will always be held close to my heart!

I will wear red always for you. No Thanksgiving dinner will ever taste good. I will cherish everything you wrote in your beautiful handwriting. I will hold all of them and so much more in my heart forever. Thank you. I love you.

Thank you Grandma for creating an amazing son who has blessed us with his talent as a great surgeon. And for your legacy you leave behind in Cynthia and your grandchildren. I love how Cynthia always talked about all the wonderful things you did for all of them. We are all blessed to have known you and will meet up again one day. Fly high sweet Grandma and spread your smile in heaven.

Mrs Galvan, I have never met another Grandma more actively involved in the life of her grandchildren. I will see you in sports practice, birthday parties, school activities or just arranging something so Olivia and Andrea could hang out some time. You were always so kind, I remember an award ceremony at school, you were there for Olivia’s award and I missed the event, but you took the time to take pictures of Andrea and both girls together and sent them to me later. In every encounter you were always happy and would ask me about my parents well being. It was a pleasure meeting you and sharing some times together throughout the last 10 years.
Mr Galvan, I’m so sorry your partner in life left (as she said in body only) earlier than we would have wanted, you were very fortunate to enjoy the company of your wife for more than 50 years, our hearts go out to you and the family.
George, Cynthia thank You for sharing these difficult moments, Mrs Galvan will be truly missed, I hope the power of her memories will bring peace and strength to all, we send you hugs. 

Gloria and I met at an empty nesters meeting in Alamo Ranch about 6 years ago.
She had such a wonderful outlook on life.  She will be truly missed. She was a truly kind and sweet person. I know that Heaven has a new angel.

Ms. Gloria was gracious, kind and lovely. The mutual love she and Mr. Galvan shared was instantly evident when you met them. She will be missed and we will remember that she lives on in the hearts of those who love her. 
George, Cynthia and family, we love you and are here for you always.

Grandma “Shorty” Galvan,

The very first day I met you, you captured my heart. Although I got to only spend a short few days with you, I felt like I knew you al my life.

I’m so grateful that I got to hear all of your stories about how you grew up, raised your children and grandchildren and all the funny memories you had.

You will always be with us because you have left a little of your sparkle within each of us.

Mom,
You were my everything. It was an honor to be your son, and words can't express how much I respected and admired you. You have always been there for me and I will remember everything we shared together. You were the greatest mom ever and I will never forget all your sacrifices you made to make sure Gwen and I were taken care of. With all my love, Georgie

Grandma,
She was a great mother, mother in law but her favorite role was that of a Grandma. She loved and doted on her grandchildren. They were her world. We will always cherish her memory and love her forever until we meet again. You will be greatly missed!
