Mrs. Gloria Jean Mata, age 79 of Ellijay, formally of San Diego, California, passed away on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 at Parkside Rehab in Ellijay.
Mrs. Mata was born on May 15th, 1943 in Long Beach, California, the daughter of the late John Rosales and Jessi Rosales. She was a housewife and a member of the Covenant Community Church of Ellijay.
Survivors include her husband, Tony C. Mata of Ellijay, GA; two sons, Jessy Mata of Ellijay, GA and Dan Mata of Florida; one daughter, Gloria Mata of San Diego, California; one brother, Buddy Rosales of Washington State; one sister, Patty Rosales of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery.
