Her Life

A Heart of Gold

February 9, 2022
My mom was such a giving person, and I can honestly say when she gave she gave with her whole heart. She was the type of person who never said NO, she was always helping out someone, whether it was giving rides, lending money, taking a person food because they needed it. But she was always there whether she was tired or sick, she found the strength to help out others. Not once did she ask for anything in return, she was a giver! Always giving her grand kids gifts, whether it was Valentine's Day, Easter, their bday, Christmas, she always had her little gifts with candy and snacks to give them. She always thought of the little things to give and that counted more than anything!

The Best Laugh

February 11, 2022
One of the best laughs that we ever had is when my mom and I spent the night at Gloria’s house and when we woke up my mother couldn’t find her teeth.  She looked everywhere for them but she couldn’t find them. We sat in her kitchen table ate some oatmeal and drank our coffee talked and laughed.  It was a good day.  Then we went to get ready and I walked behind my mother and lo and behold there were her teeth.  They were hanging by a string on her back from her pj’s.  I called Gloria over and we could not stop laughing  I mean a pee in your pants laughing.  My mother was getting mad at us because she didn’t know what we were laughing at so when we told her there we were the three is us just cracking up.  We laughed for days!!  I miss her so much.  We had our periodic phone calls just to see what was going on and she would cuss me out all the time!! From the time we were teenagers she would curse at me.  Her famous line “Aye si”   Love you Cuz ❤️  and I miss you very much.  Happy Bi

Gloria will always be missed I have not yet meet a person like her she was like the cool aunt I never had my moms best friend . Definitely a giver she had a heart of gold she would always make you feel special. I’m so grateful for all the great memories with her from my baby showers to my kids b days to just sitting in our living room drinking a cup of coffee. I often tell my kids I feel like Gloria is still around so hard to believe she’s gone, really left  an emptiness but all them memories will keep her alive in us.
