My Auntie Gloria was called "Smokey"..but only by my father, her brother in law, Carver, from Michigan. My mother, Maxine, her baby sister, would make sure we came down at least once a year to visit and when I got older, I brought my family down every 2 years. Auntie Gloria always greeted us with a big smile and a "Hey", made sure she made us some of her famous cornbread and pecan brownies! She will surely be missed as one of the kindest, most loving and generous person I've known. I will forever remember the times I've spent with my Auntie. I'm grateful for the memories on Graymont avenue and Legion Field. Rest on Auntie..love ya!

Go Go was my grandmother and raised me and my brother into the beautiful people we are today. She was an amazingly kind soul that always put family first. Go had this way of being there when you just needed her most and we tried to do that for her. I will forever remember and tell everyone about her smile, her love for her family, her desire to serve and treat others as one of her own. She taught me so much and I will always love her. I love you Go Go.

Go Go was a great lady who helped raise me into the person I am today. Any good qualities I have now are due to the love and kindness she taught me as a kid. I will love and miss her always.
