My mother Gloria, Sister Gloria, was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica.  Her mother Beryl case preceded her in death. 

She gave birth to seven children.  However, she was the mother to plenty more.  She raised numerous nieces and sisters.   

In 1987 my mother emigrated to Bronx, New York.  This in an attempt to make a better life for her children.  She left behind all her children.  Her husband Roy took care of the kids.  Her strength lives on.


My mother was diagnosed with Diabetes at the age of 40.  This would lead to her untimely death at the age of 71.
