Mrs. Gracie Guest Batts of Columbus passed away peacefully Thursday at her home. She was 79 years of age.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Batts will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Jelks, officiating.

The interment will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, 2 til 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Batts you will forever be missed. She was one of the best teachers I have ever come across. One thing about her class either you are going to act right and do your work or get out!!! I had the pleasure of being in her class in the 80's and I will always remember her. May God bless and keep your family :)

My condolences to the Batts family. Mrs Batts was a great teacher she taught me in middle school . I have many memories of her. She will be missed dearly.
