Gracie Marie Heller, infant daughter of John P. and Rhonda (Bayer) Heller, passed peacefully in the arms of family at 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Children's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born at 8:18 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Methodist Women's Hospital in Omaha. She weighed 5 pounds and 11 ounces and was 19 and a half inches long. During her brief time on Earth, Gracie touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. She is greeted in Heaven by her maternal grandfather, Richard Bayer and paternal grandfather, John Henry Heller. She is survived by her parents, John and Rhonda Heller of Onawa, IA; one sister, Allison; one brother, John Henry; maternal grandmother, Alice Bayer of Howells, NE; paternal grandmother, Sharon Heller of Dunlap, IA; paternal great grandmother, Catherine Thiessen of Woodbine, IA; aunts and uncles: Angie and Jeff Jones of Bennington, NE, Ed and Sarah Heller of Omaha, NE, Amy and Jody Wilkerson of Little Rock, AR, Beverly and Chad Villwok of Wamego, KS, Ryan and Jamie Bayer of Howells, NE, Rick and Laura Bayer of Howells, NE and Kimberly Bayer of Bellevue, NE and her fiance John Wollenhaupt; cousins; other relatives and many friends. A funeral mass was held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church in Onawa with Father Patrick O'Kane, celebrant. Music for the service included "You Are Mine," "Hail Mary, Gentle Woman," "On Eagles Wings" and "Amazing Grace." Lou Hewitt served as organist and David Hausman served as cantor. Pallbearers were Gracie's Uncles: Ed Heller and Ryan Bayer. Honorary pallbearers were Gracie's cousins: Lance and Luke Heller; Logan and Addie Jones; Marissa, MaKelsy and Jayton Wilkerson; Mason, MaKenna and Karlie Villwok; R.J., Jestin, Jade and Reagan Bayer; and Cole and Avery Bayer.
