Gracie McRae was born on April 12, 1880 in Brockton, Massachusetts to James R. McRae, a carpenter, and Katherine "Kate" Morrison.
During her short life, Gracie resided on Montello Street in Brockton with her parents and older siblings William, Edward Stanley, Agnes, Kate, Rufus, and Benjamin Franklyn.
She passed away from lung fever on December 11, 1880 in Brockton. Interment took place in Snell Cemetery, Brockton.
