This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Graham Howard, 63 years old, born on September 6, 1950, and passed away on March 7, 2014. We will remember him forever.
Hey Graham, I'm missing you bud, but appreciate your spirit around. I'm happy with you in seeing young Sydney getting his first job. No doubt your proud of him like we all are. Good job in being his dad my friend. Keep on guiding him. Boop! Signing off, Leonard
It's seven years and we still miss Graham. We turned up some photos and the sympathy card that somehow never got posted. We only have this site as a contact for you, can you update us if you get this and would like to have the photos?
Graham, I look forward to your spirit being with me and maybe Sydney on natures trails and at the fishing holes this year. You can tell the story of the one that got away. The pine mushrooms miss you bud, and so do I. Boop!
Hello old friend, Missing you lot's. Trying to be there for young Sydney as promised. Good to know your keeping heaven entertained with your stories and your humor. Thanks for the memories. Leonard
A treasured picture hangs in our living room - a snap we took of the lake at the Cathedral Lakes lodge when you took us there, with the mountains perfectly mirrored in the water, your favourite place. May God bless you, Sydney and Jeanette, as you go on. Love from Ian and Sylviane.
Graham, thanks for walking in spirit with young Sydney and I this last weekend while on our hike together at Minnekhada Park. We all miss you my friend. You brought him up well! And James D. was also very pleased to have seen Sydney too. Thanks for being you bud.
We have been round the world together, hiked memorable walks in Cathedral Lakes, travelled together in Japan, and our next meeting will in another world. Love to your lovely family, I know they will still be missing you.
"Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glint on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle morning rain. And when you wake in the morning's hush, I am the sweet uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die." (Poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye, set to music by Eleanor Daley: 'In Remembrance' from 'Requiem'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPjYsFJND1M)
"Peace, my heart, let the time for parting be sweet. Let it not be a death but completeness. Let love melt memory and pain into songs. Let the flight through the sky end in the folding of the wings over the nest. Let the last touch of your hands be gentle like the flower of the night. Stand still, O Beautiful End, for a moment, and say your last words in silence. I bow to you and hold up my lamp to light you on your way." (Poem by Rabindranath Tagore, set to music by Matthew Emery: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aB4VhJmJ1Yk)
"Boop" Calling Graham wherever you are. Thank you my friend for being my perfect teacher and guide. As you and I hiked the trails of Cathedral Lakes Park together, you now are a trailblazer in heaven along with your dad and friend Malcom. It's been a great ride knowing you and your heart. "Cheers mate!"
