Grayson my sweetest angel you are the strongest little boy I know, you fought through things mommy would never have been able to go through. You make me so proud every single day. I love you so much it breaks my heart that we didn’t get longer together, one day baby mommy will have you back in her arms were you belong, until then keep flying high and bright in the sky.

his Life

My short life

I know my life was short but when I first opened my eyes on the 14th February I immediately fell in love I saw my mommy and she was crying to see me before I was taken away to have my cannula put in. I knew mommy didn’t want me to be taken away so soon but she knew I needed to go to make me better and she could see me soon on the icu at the women’s hospital.
I was lying in my cot as I could hear footsteps coming towards me - it was mommy and daddy- so happy to see me. I was so happy to see them both after what seemed like forever but I’m sure it wasn’t. Mommy and daddy started taking pictures of me ready to show my family to let them know I’d made it safely into the world. Mommy and daddy could only see my one at a time so I didn’t get much time to see them together. Mommy would see me and hold me for a little then they would swap and daddy would see me and hold me for a while. Then they would leave and get ready to see me the next day. I was at the women’s hospital for 5 days then I was transferred to the children’s hospital where I travelled my first ever few miles by ambulance but mommy and daddy wasn’t allowed to travel with me because of COVID restrictions. They could meet me at the children’s hospital ready to go to ward 11 where I’d be waiting for my open heart surgery

Grayson mommy’s boy x

Grayson Christmas just doesn’t feel like Christmas this year - mommy doesn’t have a single bit of celebration in her- because your not here with us. This should be a happy time of year, us all celebrating and opening presents together by the tree, but instead your in the clouds and mommy is here heart broken that we aren’t celebrating your first Christmas together and making memories to remember. Baby I hope your celebrating up in the clouds and making it a first Christmas you’ll remember. It will definitely be a Christmas that mommy will remember forever because you were missing
