Greg was such a kind, intelligent and thoughtful person who always had a warm, happy and witty response for you. He was instrumental in our CARE / SFU partnership and will be genuinely missed. Greg you will be missed.

I met Greg at Prince of Wales Elementary in Vancouver when we were both in grade 3. His mother was our teacher that year. I visited with them in their home throughout our school years. Greg was both a gentle man and a gentleman as well as warm, caring, intelligent, insightful, reliable, hard-working, and a steadfast friend. in latter years, we used to meet at the Quai in North Vancouver when I travelled down to the Coast. I will miss his ready smile and our great conversations! And... an added thanks to Greg from the King Ed grads of 1962 for scanning all 300 of our grad pictures. We have used them ever since at our various reunions and in our three or four general emails many years. Greg WILL be missed!

I had the privilege of meeting Greg more than 2 years ago when our photography project began. He was such an important part of our group, The Collective Agency Project. Quite quiet, but when he did speak we listened closely to his unique perspectives and brilliant ideas. He could be very forthright at times and very articulate. And very supportive of those of us who were struggling with our work.
Greg's work was so finely crafted and imaginative. And he was so funny in his very dry way. What a good sport, willing to participate in all kinds of crazy antics as we fumbled our way through our various projects.
Greg was very keen on the idea of us continuing on in the future as a group and was already thinking of some projects we could delve into. I was so looking forward to working with him.
Greg will be hugely missed.

I had the pleasure of sharing an office with Greg for a number of years. Our schedules sometimes overlapped and those times are ones I will cherish in my memory of Greg. He was always warm, kind, and seemed happy to see me, even when I was a distraction to what he was working on. He was a diligent caretaker of his tasks and always went the extra mile to help fix any troubles I was encountering if he was able.
I will remember him as one who had cultivated a gentle and generous heart, a true gift in what is often a rushed and scrappy world.

I'm going to miss our "think tank" breakfasts and drinks, and Greg's compassion, insight, warmth and optimism. I'll cherish the memories, the sage advice, the great hugs and the far too short time we had together. I'll always appreciate how deeply he thought of others and try to keep his example as a guiding light.

In the short time that I knew Greg, I was blessed by his kindness and his lovely stories that brought such insight and joy to our conversations. His sharp thinking, skillful wit, and eloquent words were a gift to me and so many others. Grateful to God for the gift of Greg to us all.

A man of measured words, always kind, reflective and inspiring, with a dash of quirky humour. An anchor in our Collective Agency Project. Missed but archived. A short but treasured experience.

I would bump into Greg at social events or special occasions and always enjoyed chatting with him. We shared a mutual history of the CBC when it was located in "The Garage" on Georgia street. Greg was truly and all round nice person and was well liked by all those that knew him. Greg, I am sure we will bump into you down the road and in the meanwhile we can enjoy our memories of you.

Greg was my C.A.R.E. minivan driving and tour guide buddy, always cheerful and calm, the best part of the day was knowing Greg would be there to greet everyone no matter how nervous I was. Will miss you Greg!
