Jana, Jackson & Emily-

Loved seeing the photos and tributes to Gregg; his upbeat personality, love of friends, food, travel, sports and family shine through. From my brief time getting to know Gregg as spectators for LWHS tennis, Gregg loved his family and loved supporting Emily and Jackson (racing from one sporting event to another). Sending my love and commemorating Gregg! Xo

Dear Jana, Jackson, Emily,
You have my deepest condolences.  Gregg and I were friends from Intuit since the 1990s.  We spent many hours on golf courses and restaurants and Gregg was always excited to share and talk about his family.  It was inspiring to know how much he loved Jana, Jackson and Emily and how proud he was of Jackson and Emily. The words I think about describing Gregg are loving, empathetic, smart, intensely competitive, funny, loyal and friend. I will miss my friend and may he Rest In Peace.

Dearest Jana, Jackson & Emily,

We are thinking of you every day through this time of overwhelming loss. We love you all and our families have been blessed to have spent so many amazing times together. Gregg was incredibly kind and generous and his laugh infectious. So many memories to count - Halloween! The best parties every year! Christmas Eve, Gregg had to get used to sharing Tyke with Walter... Old Greenwood, so much fun! Walt’s Lasagna! Gregg’s most requested dinner from our kitchen. His amazing wine collection, thank you for sharing! Gabriella enjoyed trips to Tahoe, Cabo and the infamous RV road trip during summer 2020. Gregg has a special place in her heart. Friday night poker, Giants games, dad’s weekends and Vegas for March Madness! Thank you Gregg for countless memories. We will miss you very much. May you Rest In Peace.
With love,
Walter, Kim, Antonio and Gabriella ❤️

Gregg was great friend and team leader. From the first time I meet him I knew he was someone I always wanted to be around. He is someone that always reached out and was a connector to all those around him. Always positive and always a can do attitude. Even during these past years with cancer always positive and always said do not worry about me. Gregg you will be missed for such a great man you are!! The Intuit family... PS and no matter how hard I tried never could beat him in Golf.

Dear Jana, Jackson & Emily,

I believe we don’t meet people by accident. They are meant to cross our paths for a reason. Gregg was one of those people.
I admired your Husband, Dad so much.
I just posted a tribute on LinkedIn for him because I know he touched so many life’s professionally.
I am copying a bit of it here.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

We were introduced exactly a decade ago in June, 2011. I was in my first year with @TPCTax and getting to know heads of tax and the nuances of the tax industry. Gregg took me under his wing as he did many professional tax accountants in the years I knew him. He had a unique perspective on Corporate tax and a contagious energy that I was grateful to absorb and pass on when we spoke. Tax and accounting work can be very stressful, especially with a public company but Gregg had a gift of making it manageable and light.

Gregg also loved the San Francisco Giants and was devoted to his family. I was lucky enough to catch a Giants game with him and his son, Jackson, a few years ago. He was always thinking about others, especially tax folks in transition and our last conversation was about helping a former colleague who was looking for a job. He was very sick, but dismissed it and we talked about baseball instead.

I know the Bay Area tax community is small, so thank you in advance for sharing this site so we can help comfort Gregg’s family.

Gregg will be missed, but I hope those who he touched professionally will also pass on his spirit

Paris 2012 is a treasured memory for me. Especially the day when Jana, Gregg, the kids and I went to the Rodin Museum (we saw Karl Lagerfeld!). After the kids were bored stiff we went to get ice cream and then to do what they really wanted to do - go to the playground!!
Jana and Gregg and I sat in the light rain and talked while Emily, Jackson and Claudia happily were kids at a playground.
Tom and I will miss Gregg. We both loved talking to him about anything at all.
Jana, you are in our thoughts.
