Gregory Alan Smith

Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, moved to Philadelphia, PA as a child then to Blackwood, NJ at age 11 where he and Karen met.  They were sweethearts into high school.  He graduated Highland Regional High School in 1975.

Greg was the beloved husband of Karen Smith and son, Ron.  Deceased wife Lorie Smith and father of Lauren and Gregory Smith.  Also survived by his younger brother Jimmy Smith.

He served honorably with the US Army from 1977 to 1979 where he was a radio operator and expert marksman with an M16.  After his service he took an interest in cars which then led him to become an autobody mechanic, which he developed a passion for.  He enjoyed playing guitar and rock n’ roll music with a love for Led Zeppelin.  But his love for all 7 of our feline cats was greater than that.  Greg was also was intrigued with the tribute band, Get The Led Out.  Greg and his wife have gone to close to 100 concerts in all the years they’ve been together.  His wife and son have truly been heartbroken over their loss.

Services private. Greg and Karen will be buried together when that day comes…
