Greg was raised in northern California in Orinda and graduated from Miramonte High School. He attended California State University, Long Beach where he studied acting. He made many friends, and left a lasting impression on all he met. He was amazingly funny with a razor-sharp wit and always made people laugh.
Unfortunately Greg suffered greatly toward the end of his life and passed away from complications from the AIDS virus. Sadly, his family disowned him and he was estranged from them until the last year of his life when they reconnected. The family credits AIDS Project L.A. for their support of Greg. While in L.A., a few dedicated friends from college were active in spending time with Greg and keeping his spirits up.
We hope that this simple memorial will remind people of Greg's great light that a few of us had the privilege of experiencing.
