Merry Christmas!
Seven Years to Forever
Happy Heavenly Birthday Gwen!
June 27 2020
Came to visit and the sun was shining brightly - the area was freshly mowed and since I was a day late owed you a housing cleaning - so I did. Believe it must have been to your liking as when I was ready to leave you sent two Cardinals to escort me out.
Like so very many family and friends, we think of you every single day. Give Mom a hug and tell Jesus everyone in our country needs Him now -- the world has gone so crazy. Can't imagine what it would have been like if Covid would have entered our lives in 2015.
See you next month, love always,
Nadine
Swimsuit Santa 2017
Megan "done good" again with Swimsuit Santa 2017! Sure you and Mom provided some help with the beautiful weather! Gwen, you "done good" with two fabulous children - they have heart, they care, and they put all of that into action to provide blessings to others. They are your beautiful legacy. Love you, miss you - this time of year especially! Give Mom a hug and smile - you have every reason to!
The "Great Escape"
First run away - Gwen (4), Dudley (5), and me (7) "ran away from home". We were on a farm north of Bancroft (the Nelson place) which had a long drive way. It had rained and we were "rebelling". Ran away to the end of the lane - there was a mud puddle and we covered ourselves with mud to disguise ourselves (this farm place was actually on the Indian Reservation) and join our Native American friends. About 2 hours into the whole escape, Gwen was hungry and we forgot food when we made our grand "escape". Mission failed, surrendered to our parents - a little discipline for getting dirty - but we were welcomed with warm food. Wonder what Mom and Dad thought of our adventure :)
Pop and Doc's
The Broken Arm
I can't remember how old we were, but Gwen and I were washing eggs outside on the picnic table to get ready to sell. I was young (4years younger than Gwen) and I had to go #2!
