I remember when I was six or seven Ma got on one of the roller coaster rides with me at the fair.Wow.She did have her fun in her younger days.

Her favorite cake was Orange Party Girl cake.She would always ask me to make it for her and I did,most of the time. :)
She fought Breast Cancer

In May 1998 the Doctor told Ma she had breast cancer and needed a masectomy.I didnt know what to think or say cause I was only 20 and didnt know much about the cancer stuff. So after two years of chemo and radiation,Ma was cancer free finally. I have the pictures on my Facebook we went to Walk of Life in 2013.

It was May 1998 and Ma just had breast cancer surgery.I got to her hospital room and I walked in. I was expecting her to be quite and down after her surgery but instead she was cracking jokes about our next door neighbor..She said i beleive that guy next door is a sissy.Im like Ma you just got out of surgery and you picking at the man next door.That was Joyce alright,something as serious as cancer surgery didnt get her down.
Our trip to Atlanta

Summer 2003 Me and Ma took a trip to Atlanta Georgia for a grassroots meeting involving the Montgomery Transportation Coalition.We had a good time.We did not want to leave Atlanta.
