Evangelist Gwendolyn (Poole) Mitchell was born in Buchanan, Ga. on December 10, 1947 to the late Mr. Eugene Poole and Pastor Grace Mae Poole, which preceded her in death. She departed this earthy life on February 2, 2012.

She did not obtain a high school diploma, or a college degree, but her wisdom and knowledge of the scriptures superseded her level of education. She began her spiritual walk with Christ early in life under the guidance of her mother, Pastor and Elder Grace M. Poole, of The Just Endtime Revival Center Ministries, and Pastor Arvell McClendon, of The House of Prayer. She also later was ordained in the Gospel Ministry by Word of Faith and Power Evangelistic Church of Atlanta, Ga. on April 5, 1992, by Pastor Mack S. Sawyer.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Earnest Nolan Boyd, Jr. (son); Gwendale Boyd (daughter); Mr. Johnny Mitchell (ex-husband of 17 years); Steven Eugene Poole (brother) of Atlanta, Ga.; Mr. Tommy and Mrs. Carol (Poole) Allen of Carrollton, Ga.; Mr. Arvell and Mrs. Sarah (Poole) McClendon of Carrollton, Ga.; Mr. Harry and Mrs. Deborah (Poole) Hammock of Buchanan, Ga.; Mr. Carleton and Mrs. Jenice (Poole) Bailey of Carrollton, Ga.; Melinda Poole of Carrollton, Ga.; Monica Mitchell of Atlanta, Ga.; Gary Boyd of Bowden, Ga.; And a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces , relatives and friends.
