My dearest loving Mom!
It has been 9 years that you left us, but you are and always in our heart.  You are always my hero mom! Every time I’ll follow your guidelines in my life, I get success. I miss you a lot!
No matter how many years to go I still love you, mom!
No one can take your place mom! In my memory you were a loving daughter to your parents , great and caring sister to your sibling, a wonderful wife to my father, a loving and caring mother to me, my siblings and the greatest grandma of all time to my children. You are my hero, my idol, my guidance and my everything.  I love you and miss you so much!
I wish time can go back so I can spend more time with you. Missing your love, Mom.
Love you Mom❤️❤️

On October 2, 1931 in Con Dao, Vietnam, Thien Van Vo and Chan Thi Phan welcomed to the world their first daughter, Hai Thi Vo. As the oldest of seven siblings, Hai took it upon herself to help take care of her family. From helping her siblings excel in school to teaching them life lessons, Hai tried her best to make sure that her siblings could make the best of their lives wherever it may lead them. Her kindness did not stop at her siblings. This beautiful women’s determination led her to show her loving care to her siblings’ children as well and she continued to show her love as she started her own life outside of her direct family.

In 1954, Hai started a new path in life with her husband Tan Nhut Huynh. Together, they brought to the world eleven children whom they love dearly. Because Hai and Tan wanted the best for their family, the two doting parents took the liberty to help their family escape from Vietnam after 1975. The Huynh family successfully made it to the United States of America despite the fact that they had no money and only the clothes on their back. Upon finding refuge in America, the parents of eleven found their way by making money from shrimping and gardening. Hai’s love to her children was unending as she taught them to work hard for what they want in life and she succeeded as her children went on to start their own lives. The mother of eleven soon became the grandmother of twenty-one.

Throughout her life, Hai Thi Vo has shown the world her undying compassion and love. Lending out a helping hand to those in need and being a mother to all who came across her path, this beautiful woman found herself a place in all of our hearts. Every day of her life, she spent thinking about those she loved, whether it be her parents, siblings, husband, children, grandchildren or friends. She never asked for anything but for all of us to love each other as much as she loved us.

On August 14, 2012, Hai Thi Vo left our world to be reunited with her beloved husband. Wherever she may be, let us all remember that she loves each and every one of us. She will always be remembered and she lives through us, each and every single day.

May you rest in peace Hai Thi Vo.
