I remember Hal and his family from the days prior to World War II when they visited with us in Winnfield, La.  It was always a joy to have them visit, and I can remember it all so well.

We lost track of each other for a long time, but finally re-connected a few years ago. This re-kindled  our friendship, and I spoke on the phone with Hal about a week before he passed.

I am so blessed to have Hal as my first cousin, and still remember all the fond times of years ago.
