Noriyal Sir was more than just a colleague- in past 11 years we have been to so many school trips together, managed number of school events and he has always been balanced, calm and compose. He managed in all the difficult situations and was always by my side . Sir, I wish you could have fought this battle too ! You will always be missed and I will cherish all the memories with you Be happy wherever you are Om shanti!

Hearing the news of someone you have known and respected since KG is always hard, but that someone being noriyal sir hit me like a truck. Hearing about this terrible news has left me devastated and I can still remember the first time I met him in KG. I just want to say- Thank you Noriyal Sir for the countless memories on the field and the basketball court, in PE and morning practice. You will be missed so much.

He was a gentle soul

There is nothing I wouldn’t do to receive your tough-love one more time. The way you stood at the entrance during morning practise, partially hidden, to watch those who are coming late; If you saw them walking slowly, you would say “Haan haan aur araam se chalke aao”, and then a bunch of sleep deprived kids would run to appease you.
You taught me the value of passion and discipline; that’s the only thing you ever looked for in a sportsperson. It didn’t matter to you that I’m a girl or not as skilled as others; you cared that I’m dedicated and willing to put in the work.
Going to miss your support, and the coolness associated with having a special equation with you.
You were so loved and respected, and I hope you knew that in your heart.

Having known Noriyal sir for 11 years, my heart aches knowing that the backbone of the PE department is not with us anymore. Never seen a teacher more dedicated and loving in the PE department as Noriyal sir. I sincerely wish that his soul finds peace. We’ll miss seeing you at the alumni meet sir.
