September 2, 2019
Stopped by today mom and dad. Listened to the songs with the video and cried. I miss you both so very much, that will never change. You would be proud of Matt, Emily and Jeremy. They are all living their dreams right now. I wish you were here to see them but I know you are always watching over them. They have 2 wonderful Angels!! Love you both always. Your “baby” Deb.

Black hills

November 16, 2012

Are family decided we were gonna take grandma Sally, grandpa, grandma Diane, me my mom my dad and sister to the black hills. We were all excited to go ex specially grandma and grandpa, grandma for all the casinos, and grandpa for the train! Well the day came and we drove to West Point to pick them up. My sister and I sat all the way in the back of the car where their was no seats so we could all fit, the whole ride grandpa was so worried about us, "girls are you ok" "are you sure" then he would say chad this is so unsafe. And we all know grandma with car rides she doesn't do very well with them so he was so so worried about her. Would say ok chad at the next exit we need to get out so grandma can use the rest room and get out of the car. It was a very long car ride but those extra hours have me thousands of amazing memories that I will never forget. The first night we got their it was time to go eat dinner and of course go to the casino. Grandma had such a blast! But grandpa was ready to get home to bed because we had a big day ahead of us tomorrow we had the train ride the next day. We woke up the next morning and grandpa was happy as could be laughing talking about the train ride non stop and of course making jokes and making us laugh. We arrived at the train station and all got on the train, grandpa had the biggest smile on his face when we got on it lit up the world like it always did. The ride was 3 hours long and you know what grandma did good! After the train rid grandpa had to talk to all the train drivers. He was always so friendly! He bought a book about trains for 20 dollars that had maybe 5 pages in it. Grandma was so mad at him for buying it she yelled at him everytime we brought it up until the day we lost him she still was mad about it! That was the best trip of my life and I'm happy to say that I had the worlds best great grandpa anyone could have and now the worlds neat guardian angel. I love and miss you so much grandpa I will never forget our memories and the tattoo I got for you will always remain. RIP grandpa

To announce the sex of our child Alex and I decided to through a mother's day party, were we would cut into a cake and the inside would either be pink for a girl or blue fore a boy. Mother's day came and everyone came to my mom's for our big party, including Grandpa Harland. We all ate and then it was time to cut into our special cake. we cute in and everyone yelled and cheered because we were having a girl, even Grandpa Harland was yelling!!!! A couple weeks later my Aunt Kim called to tell me that Grandpa had asked my Grandma why everyone got so excited for that pink cake. He also said that even at weddings people don't cheer when that wedding cake gets cut!!!
