I only knew Harold as Dick and never called him by his given name. We grew up together as we were neighbors on Houston Drive in Fairborn. As kids we played “Army” all summer long, we had a great time. We were in High School together and were teammates on the Fairborn Track Team, more great memories. I recall the fun we had in his beautiful 1957 Red Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Hardtop touring around Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurant, more great memories. I have many memories of Dick, my friend, teammate and in a sense my brother. I will miss him and think of him often! Rest In Peace Dick.

This is a beautiful tribute. Dick was quite a character and just lit up a room wherever he was. I witnessed the happiness he brought to the Steele Family along with so many others. He will be missed. My heart goes out to his family and to Marian and her family.
